In Marathi cinema we have seen film before on farmers life but we had never seen film based on there cattle. "Rangaa Patangaa (रंगा पतंगा)" is an upcoming Marathi film whose title is based on two bullock name Rangaa and Patangaa. It is a heart touching story of a farmer from Vidarbha region of Maharashtra who along with his friend is in search of his missing bullock and what a
roller coaster they have to go through during this search.

Rangaa Patangaa is a comedy movie with social message starring Makarand Anaspure and Sandeep Pathak in main role and other important actor besides these two are Nandita Dhuri, Gauri Konge, Bharat Ganeshpure, Suhas Palshikar, Abhay Mahajan, Hardik Joshi, Umesh Jagtap and Anand Kulkarni.

The film is directed by debutant Prasad Namjoshi, who is also the writer of the screenplay and dialogues of this film. While story of the film is written by Chinmay Patankar. The film comprises of two song Ghazal and Qawali with same lyrics which is composed by talented Music director Kaushal Inamdar and vocals for Ghazal and Qawali is lend by Adarsh Shinde and its

"Natsamrat: Asa Nat Hone Nahi !" (नटसम्राट :असा नट होणे नाही ) an upcoming film is adaptation of Marathi Classic Play (Natak) with the name "Natsamrat", which was written by late Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar (Pen Name: Kusumagraj), it was an adaptation from one of the William Shakespeare tragedy King Lear.

The play was debuted on stage in 70s and from than it has turned out to be milestone of "Marathi Theater".

In the span of 40 years the lead role of this Classic Play has been performed by various talented actors like Dr. Shreeram Lagoo, Satish Dubhashi, Upendra Date, Yashwant Dutt, Chandrakant Gokhale, Madhusudan Kolhatkar, Datta bhat and Raja Gosavi., and now in its cinematic version the iconic character 'Ganpat Ramchandra Belvalkar' will be performed by excellent actor "Nana Patekar".

Akshay Kumar's next film on Dada Kondke

After producing critical acclaimed movie "72 Miles – Ek Pravas (७२ मैल एक प्रवास )" Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi productoin company "Grazing Goat Pictures" are coming up with there second Marathi film titled "Dada (दादा )".

The film will be based on biography of legendary actor "Dada Kondke" (Krishna Kondke) who ruled Marathi film industry in late 70s and 80s, the actor who was best know for his gullible roles, comic timing, double meaning dialogues and funny gestures are still laugh-riots for audience.

The film will be based on Anita Padhye book "Ekata Jeev" a biography of legendary actor "Dada Kondke" (दादा कोंडके).
