Adinath Kothare to play politician 'Daulat Deshmane' in Prasad Oak's Chandramukhi, The movie is based on Vishwas Patil's Novel with same Chandramukhi which is already hit among the audience.

Month back intriguing teaser of upcoming Marathi film "Chandramukhi" was released, where in teaser enthralling rhythm of dhol, a beautifully decorated stage and the feet of a woman who is preparing to dance her heart out was shown, which has created lot of curiosity among movie goers that who is playing lead role in the film, to which makers has recently unveiled the face of male lead in a special video clip, a shrewd politician 'Daulat Deshmane' played by Adinath Kothare.



Actor-Director-Producer Adinath Kothare who was last seen in bollywood movie '83' essaying a role of 'Dilip Vengsarkar', Will be eassying lead role in Marathi Film industry most awaited film of this year "Chandramukhi".

In an interview to a leading newspaper about his role Adinath said, "After producing, directing and working in Hindi films, I have got an opportunity to work in Marathi again after a long gap and that too in such a strong role. I have played the role of a politician before, but this role is very different from my previous ones. He is a politician who has a purpose in life. He is fighting for social welfare and for the rights of the people. Only after the release of this film will it be known whether his efforts will be successful. I had to study the personality traits and the body language of this character."

Chandramukhi is Prasad Oak's third directorial venture. Speaking about working with Kothare, Oak said, "I have seen Adinath's work before. Therefore, I knew that he was the perfect choice for this role and he has done it 100% justice. In the teaser itself, you can guess the personality of Daulat."

The female lead of the film is not yet revelead it will be very interesting to see who will be playing it, the movie screenplay and dialogues have been written by actor and writer Chinmay Mandlekar, music for the film is composed by Ajay-Atul, cinematography has been done by Sanjay Memane and produced by Akshay Bardapurkar, Abhayanand Singh, Piiyush Singh and Saurabh Gupta under banner Planet Marathi and Golden Ratio Films.

Chandramukhi is all set to be released on 29 April.
